Can't scan your negatives..... Give this a try...

I saw this over at Peta Pixel and could only think "Genius".

Not all of us have the ability to scan our negatives, and we may want them done a certain way, this technique was something that interested me. It will give you a lot more control over the final image.

Great idea, we should all give it a try.

Instagram Camera is now raising funds!!

I was looking through petapixel.com and came across this wonderful post.

I'm pretty sure I might have mentioned that ADR Studio in Italy have been working on the concept of an Instagram Camera. They have a lot of design concepts on their website. But the amazing news is that they are now raising funds ti get it off the ground!!

So pop over to indigogo and give a few bucks if you can. It's a very interesting concept.

A VERY VERY Expensive Holga.. And YES I want one!!

I was trawling through my Twitter feed and came across a really interesting post that caught my eye. It was from Michaels Camera and Video. It mentioned a Holga camera that was worth around $24,000 and that really pricked my interest.

The link took me to Peta Pixel and yes there it was. A Holga 120N from mounted to a Phase One P25 via a horseman lens board to create a Lomographic camera capable of taking images at 22 megapixels.

I would like to congratulate the inventor Mike Martens on his design and the sample photos are very beautiful..
